Between freedom of speech and religious sensitivity

It began back in September 2005 and it didn't look that serious. A Danish writer was searching for someone who could illustrate his children's book about the life of the prophet Muhammad.  Nobody wanted the job, through fear of antagonising Muslim feelings about images of Muhammad. Then a Danish daily looked for the cartoonists and found them.  12 cartoons and five months later - the whole world  knew about them.
