MDI’s partner on the People’s Voice project, the Union of Journalists of South Sudan (UJOSS), received a generous donation of office and IT equipment from the EU Referendum Observation mission in Juba, South Sudan.  The donation included more than 20 laptops, mobile phones, as well as fax machines, printers, office desks and chairs, among other office equipment.

This donation will help UJOSS in their work as a union of journalists in the newly created country, as well as in publishing  the ‘People’s Voice’, a newspaper supplement produced in partnership with Media Diversity Institute and inserted in leading newspapers in South Sudan read by government officials and the elite.
