Website aims to inform on Ramadan and Islamic culture PDF Print

The United Arab Emirates' largest media group recently launched a Web site that aims to shed light on the Muslim Holy Month of Ramadan.

Launched by the Arab Media Group, the English-language site, at www.halaramadan.com, aims to be a reference for both Muslims and non-Muslims that live in the UAE or for those simply interested in Islamic culture.

Workshops in Children’s Radio Programming promoting tolerance PDF Print

Radijojo, a non-commercial, not-for-profit children's internet radio station and mediator of national and global children's radio projects, is organizing a free workshop that aims to train adults in making programmes that promote tolerance among children.

The free workshop is part of the EU Grundtvig program and will be held in Berlin, from November 30 to December 4, 2009. It involves a five day course about the organization and production of radio programmes. The course will conclude with an introduction to project development ideas under the guidance of a professional consultant, experienced in European funding schemes.
