New seminar pilot project - Confronting Antisemitism and Islamophobia Through Media Literacy PDF Print

This seminar brings together CEJI's brand new training manuals addressing Antisemitism and Islamophobia, developed by Religious Diversity education team together with the Jewish Muslim Cooperation Platform, and CEJI’s long term youth partner EPTO (European Peer Trainers Organisation) in a brand new pilot seminar.

This seminar will address Antisemitism and Islamophobia through media literacy.  Seminar participants will learn to confront Antisemitism and Islamophobia in the media, develop critical thinking skills to analyse the media and develop skills and techniques to develop their own media tools. At the end of the seminar it is planned to produce a short broadcast on an internet radio station to showcase the results of this seminar.

The United Arab Emirates' largest media group recently launched a Web site that aims to shed light on the Muslim Holy Month of Ramadan.

Launched by the Arab Media Group, the English-language site, at, aims to be a reference for both Muslims and non-Muslims that live in the UAE or for those simply interested in Islamic culture.
