MEDIA PLAN INSTITUTE
Media
Plan Institute was founded in 1995 as an independent organisation specialised
for media research and education of media professionals, covering Bosnia and Herzegovina
and the region of South East Europe. It focuses on reconstruction and development
of BH and other media from the Region, through intensive training courses and
extensive educational projects, media research and monitoring, publishing and
consulting.
MPI is an over-arching organisation incorporating the following
components:

• Press
Clippings
• Media Online Journal
•

components are involved in a wide spectrum of activities, ranging from seminars
and workshops, to various research projects. The
guiding intuition of our projects is the idea of open and modern media that would
not only follow their societies but be even a step further. For this reason, we
invest not only in support of media but also research and education. Our task
is to shape the media landscape of tomorrow, because we do not want to entrust
chance alone with the future of this region ever again. MPI is therefore a place
where regional media experts and journalists meet one another, but also the future
of media technology and industry.
For these purposes, MPI has joined a number
of associations and networks such as the Network for Media Professionalisation
in South East Europe (SEENPM), European Partnership for Public Communication (Bruxelles)
and Media Initiatives from South East Europe ( MISEE).
