InfoFacto is a youth-centred media literacy platform helping adolescents assess digital content, engage with diverse perspectives, and navigate AI-driven misinformation. The project deepens critical inquiry skills and digital resilience, helping young people navigate rapidly evolving media environments—particularly social media, where misinformation spreads quickly.
While young people are at the core of InfoFacto, educators, parents, journalists, and researchers play a key role in fostering media literacy. The project gives targeted training for adults, equipping them with tools to support youth in critically engaging with digital content.
The project prioritises vulnerable and marginalised communities, including disadvantaged youth, rural populations, and minorities at risk of information manipulation. Building on EDMO best practices, InfoFacto promotes broad dissemination through a digital platform, awareness campaigns, and co-creation events, ensuring long-term sustainability.
