Ethical Journalism Initiative – A Campaign to Fight Discrimination Through Freedom of Expression and the Highest Professional Standards of Journalism

The ‘Ethical Journalism Initiative’ is a 2-year project, run in partnership with the European Federation of Journalists, Article 19, Media Diversity Institute and three European journalists’ associations. Through a series of studies, and conferences involving all stakeholders, as well as training for journalists, NGOs and lawyers, the campaign aims to promote responsible media coverage of diversity in Europe, primarily through strengthening journalism standards, and developing understanding of the relationship between equality and freedom of expression.
