3rd EU Equality Summit PDF Print

The Council, convinced of the public information and opinion forming role of the media, since the beginning of the campaign has invited all players in the media industry to discuss and propose solutions giving pride of place to diversity and a culture of tolerance.

This debate on the future of media representations of cultural diversity is organised by the Panos Paris Institute, in association with the University of Westminster. The event will mark the publication of a study entitled “Media and Cultural Diversity in Europe and North America”, conducted by the Panos Paris Institute. A panel of contributors to the study will discuss, together with an audience of journalists and media practioners, policy makers, academics, and activists, such questions as:

  • What are the study’s most significant findings?
  • What innovative actions and best practices does it highlight?
  • What prospects does it see for the future?

Journalism conference to take place at Moscow University PDF Print
