European journalists can submit works to a photo contest under the theme "Tolerance, Transparency, Tradition and Trust.". The award, sponsored by the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), aims to highlight tolerance and non-discrimination.

The Anna Lindh Foundation (ALF) and Fondazione Mediterraneo (FM) opened the nomination for the Fifth Edition of the Euro-Med Award for the Dialogue between Cultures. The Award theme for this year is ‘Dialogue for Ecological Sustainability’. All the members in the 43 countries of the Union for the Mediterranean are invited to nominate individuals and organizations renowned for promoting intercultural action to address current environmental and social challenges, and climate and development challenges, and contributing to finding common solutions for advancing toward the ecological age.
