For Diversity. Against Discrimination is an EU Journalist Award awarded in the course of an EU wide competition on discrimination and diversity open to print and online journalists.
The award honours journalists who contribute through their work to better public understanding of the benefits of diversity and the fight against discrimination in society on the grounds of ethnicity, religion, age, disability and sexual orientation. Four prizes, each worth €4,500, €3,000, €2,500, €2,000 are given to print and online journalists in EU countries by the European Commission. The award is being given from 2004 to present.
